[ perhaps you were following the feeling of something present, or maybe you're completely oblivious to that sort of thing and were just wandering around. either way, you've stumbled across a small copper offering bowl sitting on a rock in the park. chances are there's some sort of trinket in there already: a few coins, or a candy bar. maybe a feather or a strawberry.

there's a slightly worn bit of paper tucked under the bowl. "因果応報" has been carefully caligraphed onto it, with a translation in plainer writing underneath— "what goes around comes around."

will you leave something? ]

[Totally a thing that would be said by someone who has no idea where she got them.]

I like strawberry.

[ more than that, she loves offerings made with her preferences in mind. even aside from the whole god thing, it's always nice to be reminded that people think of you. ]

[He's way too tsun to just fess up, Kaiko, I'm sorry.]

[ si~ighs, in the most over the top patient way possible ]

I have no idea what you're talking about.

[And his face is kind of pink for absolutely no reason.]

[ reaches over, pats his shoulder, and. steals his hat IT'S HERS NOW GOODBYE ]

Wh- Give that back! It's mine!

[He's gonna grab for it even if he has to jump-]

[ she's only an inch or so taller than him; no jumping is necessary except to maybe try to pin her down, because she sure isn't holding still for retrieval attempts. scooting back, laughing ]

Come and get it, then!

[He tackles her.

He's not an especially heavy person, but neither is she, so they might very well go down like a brick.]

[ the nice thing about being an onryou specifically is that weight manipulation is pretty standard— which is why she usually weighs barely anything at all. but it does mean that if she feels like it, she can be as immovable as she'd been in life, when she'd had around 300 pounds of muscle and metal to keep her anchored.

right now she emphatically does not feel like it. Kaiko yelps gleefully as they topple over like a house of cards. ]

[Chuuya doesn't know that she can do that, and even if he did he might not be thinking about it. All he cares about is that this position on top of her makes it way easier for him to grab for his hat.]

[Chuuya is determined and grabby. And also not getting off her until he gets his hat back.]

[ she's giggling too hard to really put up a good defense, anyway. congratulations, Chuuya, on the rescue of your hat ]

[He sticks it back on his head, triumphant.

...and then seems to actually realize what kind of position they're in, if the pink suddenly on his cheeks is any indication.]

[ takes one look at his face and very nearly starts laughing again. chuuya please ]

It's a little late for that kind of reaction.
