Well, Max is... kind of a god, but he's primarily a fae? So like, he's a good friend, but he does deals and bargains, not answering prayers. And he will buy your soul if you're selling it.

I generally try to be really polite to anyone supernatural I meet
but fae are in the same group as older kitsune
by which I mean the "use enough manners even my grandmother would be satisfied" group
